The beloved Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest is back for its 52nd annual celebration, transforming Tempe Town Lake into a Bavarian wonderland from Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12, 2025. This three-day outdoor festival offers fun for all ages, with an exciting lineup of live music, authentic German food and drinks, festive games, carnival rides, and traditional Oktoberfest activities.
Headliners Annie Bosko, Fastball, and Emily Wolfe will take the stage over the weekend, performing across two stages alongside a schedule of musical talent. The festival runs from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday. VIP ticket holders will enjoy premium perks such as front stage viewing, private bars and restrooms, food and drink, and the chance to meet performing artists.
Returning this year are some of Oktoberfest’s most cherished traditions, including the Wiener Dog Races, the brat-eating contest, and the Four Peaks Brewing Stein Holding Competition. Saturday, October 11 also features the Frank Kush Foundation’s “Runnin’ for the Brats” – a spirited fun run around Tempe Town Lake with 10K, 5K, and 1-mile options. Participants are encouraged to show off their best Oktoberfest costumes, and all runners receive free admission to the event on Saturday.
This year’s Oktoberfest marks the return of Chef Nicholas Hyche, the award-winning culinary mind behind Der Wurst Hot Dogs. Dubbed the “Wiener Meister,” Chef Hyche brings a creative flair to traditional German street food, and his partnership with Four Peaks Brewing is back by popular demand.
His 2025 Signature Brat, the “Four Peaks Brewing Kilt Lifter Beer Brat,” will once again take center stage. This crowd favorite bratwurst – infused with Four Peaks’ iconic Kilt Lifter ale and topped with bacon and apple-mustard slaw – delivers a perfect mix of local flavor and Oktoberfest tradition.
As a fundraiser for Tempe Sister Cities, a nonprofit established in 1970, proceeds from the event help fund international exchange programs for high school students.
With support from sponsors like the City of Tempe and State Farm Insurance, the festival continues to support youth cultural exchange programs in nine of Tempe’s 11 sister cities worldwide. Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest offers a weekend full of entertainment and tradition at one of the Valley’s most iconic venues.
