JKJ Comedy presents “Jenna Kim Jones: She’s So Brave” at the Chandler Center of the Arts on Saturday, September 17 where clean stand-up comedian and mom of three Jenna Kim Jones will deliver two comedy shows at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. for a night full of laughter.
Jenna Kim Jones has been bravely telling jokes to audiences nationwide and making people laugh for over a decade. After beginning her comedy career while working in TV years ago, she eventually left the glitz and glam of TV to pursue stand-up comedy. Since then, Jenna has released a comedy special with dry bar comedy in 2018 called “Jenna Kim Jones: fun to hug” which has received one million reviews. She was the featured comedian on SiriusXM’s clean comedy channel Laugh USA in 2016, 2018 and 2020.
When Jenna isn’t performing stand-up, raising her children or eating candy, she hosts a weekly podcast with her husband called “Couple Friends” and co-hosts the television series “Random Acts.”
“We can’t wait to get out to Arizona,” says Jenna. “This is a show that I have been working on for a long time. I’ve spent all summer performing all over the country telling these jokes and audiences have seemed to really love it. I’m excited we chose Arizona and think we will have a really great crowd.”
Jenna, who has been described as a “female Jim Gaffigan” brings family-friendly adult content that is funny and relatable to all walks of life so the whole family can attend. Her life as a married mom with three kids and her experience growing up in a big family herself inspires a lot of her humor.
“It’s safe for everybody,” she says. “It’s humor from my perspective, it’s very observational, it’s a lot of fun. I don’t take life too seriously, so I like to make people laugh and just feel good for a night. I think everybody in your family will find something in my show hilarious.”
In addition to being able to look forward to tons of laughter this Saturday, the audience will have the chance to be part of comedy history. Both shows at Chandler Center of the Arts will be recorded and released later in early 2023.
