Biltmore Fashion Park has announced a new Sunday event series called “Art Walk at Biltmore Fashion Park.” The event is set to feature rotating exhibitions from Arizona artists, hosted in collaboration with Axiom Gallery and ArtLink Inc. The upcoming events will feature approximately 20 artists and will be held on February 15 and March 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the mall’s open-air area.
Although the setup is non-traditional, Art Walk aims to engage audiences and enable “artists to connect with art collectors, shoppers and the Biltmore neighborhood.” Gallery walls will be constructed in the open-air spaces, and the creative works will be displayed in the Center Court and select storefronts.

This month’s featured creators include painters such as Ella Nicole Aretakis, photographers such as Ernie Button, and mixed-media artists such as Gail A. McFarland, among others.
Guests are invited to enjoy bites and drinks as they walk through the gallery-style space. Event partner ArtLink is known throughout Phoenix for its mission to build the arts and creative scene, especially through traditions such as First Friday arts events, the Art Detour series, and the annual Art D’Core Gala.

This Art Walk will be the latest step in enhancing and empowering the creative community: “The series builds on Artlink’s mission to spotlight Arizona talent while activating one of Phoenix’s most iconic destinations through accessible, community-driven arts programming.”
Axiom Gallery is a contemporary gallery space on Camelback Road, featuring “pop, abstract, neo-street, and contemporary art from emerging and mid-career artists in all mediums.” Axiom will showcase works, including “Balloon” by Colin Roberts, at Biltmore Fashion Park’s art space.
While the event is still in its early stages, the organizers have plans for the Art Walk’s future and its community. Learn more at reddevelopment.com.
