The Big Wheel is the first permanently fixed outdoor ferris wheel in metro Phoenix and the latest signature attraction to Arizona Boardwalk, in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Standing at 80 feet tall, the attraction has 18 fully enclosed climate-controlled gondolas that comfortably seat up to six guests at a time. The ride offers 360-degree views of McDowell, Black, Mummy, Four Peaks, and Camelback Mountains. Music and lighting complete the onboard experience.

“The Boardwalk Big Wheel was designed to bring families and friends together,” said Managing Partner Ran Knishinsky. “Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, a family outing, or taking in the Arizona scenery, this attraction offers a one-of-a-kind experience unlike anything else in the Valley.”

During construction, about 200 team members signed permanent steel panels that were built into the wheel to symbolize a tribute to all the people behind the smiles, experiences and moments that make Arizona Boardwalk a place for families to come together again and again.

Admission for an all-day pass is $20, where you can enjoy unlimited rides for the entire day of purchase. It is $9 for the first ride on the Big Wheel and $6 for each additional guest in the same gondola. Guests can also purchase a combo ticket, and save up to 40 percent by bundling the Big Wheel with other Arizona Boardwalk attractions. The combo tickets include two rides. Tickets can be purchased online at arizonaboardwalk.com.
