Troon, the Scottsdale-based leader in golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, is expanding its growing portfolio with the acquisition of Atlanta-based Bobby Jones Links, a club management company that has grown from two facilities in 2000 to 34 facilities across 13 states.
Under the new agreement, Bobby Jones Links will continue operating under its established name while gaining the additional resources, expertise and marketing support that come with being part of the Troon family of brands. The company’s co-founders, Whitney Crouse and Steve Willy, will remain in their respective roles as CEO and COO, helping guide the brand as it enters its next chapter.

“Steve and I thoroughly enjoy this business and love this company. For 26 years, we have made incremental improvements and added more talented people to better serve our clients and team members,” said Crouse. “Now, we are so excited to be part of the Troon family. Bobby Jones Links, powered by Troon, will be very compelling, enabling us to make an even bigger difference for those we serve.”
For Troon, the addition of Bobby Jones Links represents another opportunity to support clubs and help operators navigate an increasingly competitive golf and hospitality landscape.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bobby Jones Links to the Troon family,” said Troon President and CEO Tim Schantz. “Whitney and Steve are both incredible leaders with strong industry voices. They’ve developed an extraordinary company that we’ve admired for years, with an outstanding team of professionals working in both the corporate office and in the field. We are committed to helping the Bobby Jones Links brand prosper.”
