Major Renovation of WaterView in Camelback Corridor Now Complete

WaterView, a prominent commercial office complex in the Camelback Corridor, recently underwent a significant renovation. This marks an important milestone in the property’s evolution, bringing a new era of modern office design and amenities to one of the city’s most iconic business districts.

Located on more than 11 acres at the intersection of Highland Avenue and 22nd Street, WaterView sits on the former grounds of the Town & Country Golf Course. Holualoa Companies acquired the site approximately three and a half years ago. They partnered with Plaza Companies to manage the property and lead a renovation to redefine the workspace experience.

Now, with the extensive refurbishment complete, WaterView presents a reimagined office environment that blends sleek contemporary aesthetics, state-of-the-art amenities, and vibrant outdoor spaces. Plaza Companies, through its property management and construction divisions, played a central role in delivering the newly transformed space.

“This property has always had incredible potential thanks to its location, layout, and natural beauty,” said Steve Lindley, COO of Holualoa Companies. “The renovations have truly brought its potential to life, and reflect our long-term vision for creating inspiring, amenity-rich environments where businesses can thrive.”

The updated complex features a series of notable enhancements, including the modernization of restrooms, the construction of eight high-end speculative office suites – five of which have already been leased – and a full repainting of interior and exterior surfaces to project a fresh, contemporary vibe. Plaza’s team also created a new, fully furnished tenant lounge accented with greenery and modern décor, rebuilt and modernized mail room facilities, and laid new tile throughout the main lobbies.

The property now hosts a curated public art collection inspired by the natural and historical character of the area. Outdoor amenities were also a major focus, with significant upgrades made to the landscaping surrounding the central lake. Tenants and guests can now enjoy a refreshed island with recreational features like a bean bag toss, a ping pong table, and a putting green. A new lakeside boardwalk, ramada with barbecue grill, dining areas, and a fire pit add to the complex’s appeal as a unique and functional space.

“This transformation has been all about elevating the experience for tenants and creating an inspirational and enjoyable workplace environment,” said Sharon Harper, Chairman and CEO of Plaza Companies. “We’re proud to have led a renovation that blends form and function — offering tenants not just beautiful, flexible office space, but an atmosphere that promotes productivity, wellness, and connection.”

Leasing momentum at the complex is strong, as demand for well-located, high-quality office spaces in dynamic urban settings continues to rise.
