If the summer heat has you dreaming of a cooler-climate-vaca, two delicious reasons for you to stay put are about to pop up on Scottsdale’s Restaurant Row. Spaghetti Western Productions, downtown Scottsdale’s group of independently-owned restaurants (including other favorites such as Digestif, Cowboy Ciao and Kazimierz) have planned to open two more restaurants this summer. The first–and fifth Spaghetti Western restaurant–Mexican Standoff, will offer diners a playful mix of Latin and Mexican dishes as well as outside dining along the Arizona Canal. The other will be called Shell Shock, closely related to Japanese fare destination Sea Saw and designed to take a more modern and youthful approach to sushi, sake and the like.
