Z’Tejas Unveils New Winter Menu

Z’Tejas has unveiled a tempting new winter menu that is warming up taste buds with delectable seasonal eats through mid-February. Take a look at what the five Valley Z’Tejas locations are dishing up this season.


Roast Chicken Pot Pie – Famous Z’Tejas cornbread tops traditional pot pie ingredients of carrots, onion, peas and tender roasted chicken, served with a fresh Z’Salad.

Winter Arugula Salad – Peppery arugula tossed with Champagne vinaigrette, topped with roasted beets, pickled leeks, shaved roasted fennel, crisp Gala apples and creamy goat cheese.

Short Rib Enchilada – Tender braised beef short rib rolled in corn tortillas finished with chocolate mole, served over cauliflower mash and finished with fried carrot chips.

Open-Faced Meatloaf Sandwich – Classic style meatloaf served open-face on toasted brioche bread with creamy and dreamy mashed potatoes, crisp broccoli and finished with a pile of fried onion rings.


Maple Cider-Brined Roast Chicken – Maple syrup and cider-brined half chicken served with a brown sugar and pecan baked sweet potato and balsamic braised red cabbage and Gala apples.

Cast Iron Scallops – Three jumbo scallops seared to a golden brown and served atop charred tomato red rice, roasted vegetables and finished with Andouille sausage and pickled peppers.

Winter Short Rib – Beef short rib marinated in thyme, rosemary and garlic and then braised until fork tender, served with creamy & dreamy mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and parsnips.

Classic Meatloaf (pictured) – Classic style meatloaf served with creamy & dreamy mashed potatoes, crisp broccoli, a natural pan gravy and finished with a pile of fried onion rings .

Specialty Cocktails

Ruso Blanco – Cuervo Cinge Cinnamon-Infused tequila,1800 Anejo tequila, Monin Salted Caramel, Kahlua and half-and-half.

Cinnamon Fruzion – Cuervo Cinge Cinnamon Infused tequila swirled into our frozen 6th Street Margarita.

Specialty Dessert

Texas Butter Cake – Warm Butter Cake finished with butterscotch sauce, candied pecans and served with Blue Bell Buttered Pecan ice cream.
