This Monday, Nov. 11 marks Veteran’s Day, and North Scottsdale’s Sassi restaurant is honoring our brave service men and women with a delicious–and free–meal. Sassi is offering a complimentary three-course meal to veterans of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, whether active duty or retired. (The price for all others is $39.) Note that Sassi is not open on Mondays, so the free meals will be offered on Sunday, Nov. 10 starting at 5 p.m.
The three-course menu includes a chopped salad comprised of artichokes, olives, pine nuts, golden raisins, capers, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, radicchio, gorgonzola and a balsamic vinaigrette. Veterans can choose from chicken marsala or beef short ribs as an entrée. For dessert enjoy a flourless chocolate cake, espresso cream, and chocolate espresso. Guests must RSVP via www.sassi.biz.
