About Executive Council Charities and EC70 About Beginning in 1972, a group of 70 working professionals began to develop and implement fundraising activities to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix. To expand its fundraising and support of non-profit organizations benefiting youth throughout the Valley of the Sun, that group has now formed two separate organizations. Executive Council Charities, a non-profit corporation, was established for the purpose of providing grants to programs and non-profit organizations focused on helping the youth of Arizona reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Funds are raised through events, like the Original Taste, and direct contributions to Executive Council Charities. With the help of numerous partners and the support of the community Executive Council Charities will meet our charitable goals.  EC70 (The Council) is a group of working professionals dedicated to organizing and providing volunteers for fundraising activities to fund Executive Council Charities’ grant program. Prior to forming the Council, our more than 250 members developed and implemented fundraising activities to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, raising more than $12 million for that organization. The Council is committed to helping the youth of our community.
