Beat the heat and contribute a worthy cause! Tomorrow, Scottsdale’s FireSky & Spa is hosting an ice cream social for charity. From 2 to 4 p.m., hotel guests and the public are invited to the lobby at FireSky for a banana-caramel gelato, hazelnut gelato or an ice cream sandwich for $2 each. All proceeds go to the local chapter of Dress for Success. If you can’t make it to Thursday’s social, you can dine and dessert at Taggia, with both gelato flavors available throughout July for $7 ($1 of which goes to DFS). www.fireskyresort.com.
