We recently told you all about the incredible prix-fix summer menu at Fairmont Scottsdale’s Bourbon Steak. Well, the resort has a few other summer-long culinary events up its sleeve. Take a look:
Lobster Fest at The Grill at the TPC Scottsdale: On Saturday nights, The Grill at the TPC Scottsdale will host an East Coast classic, a Lobster Fest. The Grill guests can choose their lobster either grilled, boiled or classic Thermidor, accompanied with grilled corn on the cob, buttered fresh green asparagus, Yukon gold baked potatoes and an oven-roasted vegetable salad, all served family style. The Lobster Fest dessert includes a mouthwatering tarragon vanilla ice cream with a grilled summer peach and caramel drizzle, all for $38 per person. Lobster Fest is available 6 to 9 p.m.
Fiesta Fridays at La Hacienda by Richard Sandoval: The recently reopened La Hacienda (and also one of my new favorite Valley restaurants) will host a fun and tasty Fiesta Friday buffet. The buffet will include a suckling pig roast, a tortilla-maker, mariachis and tastings with the Goddess of Tequila. The price of the Fiesta Friday buffet is $29 for adults, $13 for children and kids five and younger dine free with the purchase of an adult buffet or entrée. (Tequila is a la carte.)
Both events are offered through Labor Day. 7575 East Princess Dr., Scottsdale, 480.585.2706. www.fairmont.com/scottsdale.
