West Addison To ring in the holiday, Scottsdale’s West Addison is holding a St. Patrick’s Day Block Party on March 17. From 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., West Addison will be a hot spot of live music, delish Irish fare and plenty of entertainment. From 3 to 7 p.m., kids are welcome to the restaurant to enjoy clowns, face painters, balloon artists, cotton candy, snow cones, games and live music. A $5 cover will begin at 6 p.m., with more bands, three bars, beer tubs, a cigar bar and party favors.
Z’Tejas In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Valley Z’Tejas locations will be offering  an Irish O’Larry margarita for $3.17. (An Irish O’Larry margarita is a smaller version of Z’Tejas’ famous 6th street margarita with lucky Midori swirl.) The Irish O’Larry margarita is only available on the 17th and only your first drink order will be the special $3.17 price.
Yard House Scottsdale’s Yard House restaurant will celebrate St. Patty’s with a menu of Irish favorites (corned beef and shepard’s pie, to name a few), several festive cocktails (like the Get Lucky Lemon Drop, Pot of Gold, Celtic Mojito and Lucy Leprechaun) as well as music from many of your favorite Irish artists (think U2, Sinead O’Connor, Van Morrison, the Cranberries, The Pogues, Boomtown Rats, Thin Lizzy, Hothouse Flowers, The Undertones and more).
Cadillac Ranch You’ll pinch yourself at Cadillac Ranch at Tempe Marketplace’s 4th Annual Shamrocks & Shenanigans. Revelers can expect several food and drink specials, including $10.99 Guinness shepard’s pie, $6 Irish car bombs and $4 Jameson’s Irish coffee and Irish whiskey.
Phoenix City Grille From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Phoenix City Grille will dish up slow-roasted corned beef brisket with a chipotle-dijon glaze, scalloped cabbage and rosemary roasted potatoes as well as $2 off Guinness to diners who wear green.
Roaring Fork Scottsdale-based Roaring Fork will dole out Irish Apple Bottom cocktail on St. Patty’s for $10.
To whip up the Irish Apple Bottom at home, here’s how:
Irish Apple Bottom
3/4 oz Apple Pucker
1 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
1 oz Fresh Sweet and Sour
Splash Soda
Garnished with sprig of mint and lime wedge
Mix all ingredients together and shake over ice. Pour mixture into a tall rocks glass and serve. Garnish: With a sprig of mint and lime wedge.
