Instead of making your way through the grocery store this weekend, taking on the holiday rush, perhaps pick up your Thanksgiving essentials at the CityNorth Farmers Market. On Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (the farmers market is the third Sunday of every month), more than 80 local farmers and vendors will line the luxe High Street at CityCenter of CityNorth in Phoenix. (The October farmers market was so popular that for this month’s event, 30 more vendors were brought in.)
This Sunday’s event will include a canned food drive in support of the Salvation Army in addition to plenty of family-fun activities like harvest cookie decorating, face painting, pony rides, train rides, a bounce house and more. There will also be a plant sale and many of CityCenter at CityNorth restaurants will be hosting specials. http://www.citycenterofcitynorth.com/.
