Well if you want to send people into a food coma via photography then here’s your chance to learn the industry’s best tips and tricks on creating lust worthy fare. Bloguettes, the Valley’s top educational resource for bloggers, creative types, and entrepreneurs will be hosting a Food Styling workshop this Saturday November 7 from 1 – 5pm along with local hot shot photog Constance Higley. During the four-hour class, Bloguettes will arm you with the techniques to stage food for maximum visual appeal using camera settings, angles, and lighting to best capture your gourmet masterpieces.
Some of the topics covered during the course include the essentials of food styling (from styling, lighting, props, angles, and secrets tips), the importance of storytelling with food, as well as how to find your unique style and aesthetic as a stylist, photographer, and all-around brand. The workshop is designed to not only educate, but to foster networking among the creative community as well and what better way to do that than share a meal! Following the workshop attendees will indulge in a delectable sit-down dinner while they mix and mingle.
