This Memorial Day, all active, reserve, former or veteran military members eat free at NYPD Pizza. Dine-in guests can present their military ID at NYPD Pizza and get two slices of cheese pizza and a non-alcoholic drink or a slice of cheese with a small caesar or house salad, plus a non-alcoholic drink.
To honor Valley veterans, Organ Stop Pizza is hosting a “Red, White and Blue” promotion with a portion of the proceeds to support two nonprofit organizations: Honoring Arizona’s Veterans (HAV) and Military Veterans Parade Association (MVPA). During the promotion, customers can purchase one of two limited-time specialty pizzas. At the end of the promotion, the total of large pizzas purchased will be compiled and Organ Stop Pizza will donate 20 percent of the proceeds to the aforementioned causes to provide funds for their annual Phoenix and East Valley Veterans Day Parades. Promo ends June 14.
The Cove Trattoria in Scottsdale is holding a cocktail party on Thursday, May 23 from 5-7 p.m. to kick-off summer. Guests can try the restaurant’s new summer specialty cocktails like the Pomo-Rita, Whiskey Smash, Raspberry Ginger Gin Fizz, Sicilian Cosmo or Lemon Basil Mojito. All specialty cocktails will be $6 during the kick-off party.

From May 26-June 1, RA Sushi Bar Restaurant will host its annual Nicky’s Week fundraiser to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In it’s ninth consecutive year, RA Sushi donates 100 percent of sales from a variety of popular food and drink items.
