Tomorrow, July 6, Chef Josh Hebert, owner of Posh Restaurant, and Travis Nass, mixologist at Rancho Pinot will host a special cocktail dinner that will include cold tomato soup with olive and mozzarella spheres; salt cod and sweet corn fritters with aioli; prosciutto with apricots and marinated asparagus with balsamic gelee; pork loin with romesco and an ancho demi;and a sorbet of cocktails with caviar and granita. The cocktail dinner is $99 per person and includes tax and gratuity. On Saturday, July 9, Scottsdale’s Brazilian steakhouse, Fogo de Chão, will support military families preparing to head back to school as it hosts a new backpack drive for Operation Homefront of Arizona’s Back-to-School Brigade. The organization provides new school supplies for military children of all ages. Fogo de Chão encourages guests to drop new backpacks off early, as the first 75 donations will receive a free Fogo de Chão lunch or dinner card, valued at $28.50 or $46.50 respectively, and includes 15 delicious cuts and meat, tasty sides and fresh and flavorful salad bar offerings. Additional backpack donations will receive a free Fogo de Chão dessert card.
