Arizona’s most anticipated restaurant industry event, The Foodist Awards presented by the Arizona Restaurant Association, was held at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia on April 24, 2014. The annual celebration featured a cocktail reception, four-course dinner and awards program with the 30 best finalists across 2014’s ten categories including Top Chef, Food Pioneer, Master Mixologist, Outstanding Food Truck, Emerging Restaurant of the Year and more. From first-time James Beard nominee Gio Osso to “vegetable whisperer” Charleen Badman, and industry magnates like Sam Fox and Craig Demarco, the Foodist Awards truly represented culinary brilliance throughout Arizona.
The annual affair honored the most excellent representatives in their fields and offered an evening of revelry and celebration for industry veterans to come together to commemorate the growth of the culinary landscape within Arizona. AZFoothills.com TV was on-site with host Brittany Dawn Brannon to chat with all the culinary hot shots at the exclusive event.
