This December, JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa will transform into a winter wonderland where guests can experience the magic and joy of the season through festive activities taking place every weekend throughout the month.
Families will delight in a range of holiday fun, including warming up at the hot cocoa bar, cozying up during a story time with Santa’s elves, decorating cookies and even meeting Mr. Claus himself in addition to enjoying the resort’s exclusive features and amenities.
Each Friday throughout December, JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass will host a “Night with the Elves.” The evening begins at 4 p.m. with a hot cocoa bar at the main lobby offering hot chocolate and toppings followed by story time with Santa’s elves at 6 p.m. where children can listen to Santa’s helpers read stories of “How to Catch a Reindeer” and “How to Catch an Elf.” Parents can also reserve a special room visit from the elves between 6 p.m.–8:45 p.m., where the elves will tuck kids into bed with a holiday book in anticipation of Santa’s arrival the next day.
The festivities continue at the resort with “A Day with Santa” every Saturday throughout December. The all-day experience features breakfast with Santa and his elves at Passaggio between 7 a.m.–11 a.m. and a search to find Rudolph’s nose hidden around the resort beginning at 10 a.m. Guests can then get into the holiday spirit by making ornaments from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. and decorating cookies from 12 p.m.–1 p.m. before taking a photo with Santa, who will visit the main lobby between 1p.m.–3 p.m. The magical day ends with a sweet treat of s’mores at the resort’s Meecha Lawn from 5 p.m.–7 p.m.
