W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills Undergoes $25 Million Renovation

W Los Angeles - West Beverly Hills

Arizonans really have it good – beautiful desert landscapes, luscious golf courses, shopping centers galore, and the hustle and bustle of downtown Phoenix or Old Town Scottsdale. Best of all though? When the scenery’s looking all too familiar, a little adventure to California is only a short road trip away.

One of this summer’s most exciting hot spots in Cali is the newly renovated W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills. This destination hotel, formerly known as W Los Angeles – Westwood, recently spent $25 million recreating the location top-to-bottom to embrace LA’s iconic style and ensure optimal comfort and ease for all guests.

Some of the newest additions include 297 suites, including the W’s version of a presidential suite, the Extreme WOW suite. The room is designed hidden-bungalow style with louvered windows and filtered light that are meant to evoke the feeling of a Beverly Hills garden retreat. As if that weren’t enough, the suites come equipped with intimate, state-of-the-art screening rooms.

In a statement released by the hotel, a design director involved in the renovation, Andrea Dawson Sheehan, said the goal was, “to create an engaging and energetic luxury experience rich in texture and ambiance that allows guests to capture the intrigue and illusion indicative of Los Angeles.”

Those looking to mix and mingle with other guests can hang out in the W Living Room where pulsating lights sync to the DJ’s beats and water falls from a 12-foot water wall. The hotel also hosts a new music series called Rendition every last Thursday of the month.

When you’re feeling hungry, you can grab a bite to eat at the brand new STK restaurant or eat poolside in a cabana with their newly updated menus.

For more relaxed travelers, the hotel offers the signature BLISS Spa – a 7,000 square foot tension-fighting dreamland that features ten treatment rooms, movie-while-you-manicure nail stations, luxe men’s and women’s lounges, a Bliss Spa store, rhythm & blues tunes and a brownie buffet.

Whether you’re looking for an action-packed, energetic vacation or a detoxing and rejuvenating break, the W Los Angeles – West Hollywood is a gorgeous option with fantastic service. If you’re heading to California, be sure to check them out.
