The Phoenician Debuts a Fully Renovated Three-Story Spa

As part of The Phoenician’s extensive renovation, its spa has reemerged with new amenities and a fresh, new look. From a rooftop pool and a Drybar salon to an Aromatherapy Blending Bar and more, the spa focuses on delivering a transformative experience.

The new three-story 37,000-square-foot spa not only has a completely new design, but its look and feel are polished and stunning. The spacious central lobby is decked out in grey and silver tones with the rising Phoenix element throughout. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto Camelback Mountain and the resort, a stark contrast to the previous underground layout.

Throughout the spa, taupe and grey hues are complemented by gold and brass finishings for a high design look and calming vibe. The spa features 24 treatment rooms including one couple’s massage room, six facial rooms and one tranquility suite that’s ideal for couples or private groups. The 600-square-foot suite has a two-sided fireplace, a refreshment station, lounge chairs and its own bathroom with shower. Guests can kick off their day with hot-and-cold hydrotherapy before unwinding with a variety of treatments like massages, body treatments, facials, spa journeys, couples escapes and more. Or enjoy something more unique like the wellness guides (think personalized meditation, hypnotherapy and more).

In between treatments guests can fully zen out in the relaxation room which can accommodate up to 18 people but is spread out enough to maintain a cozy and intimate vibe. Curl up on one of the spacious loungers surrounded by the unique fire feature or snooze away on the secluded daybeds.

If some much needed R&R isn’t enough, then unwind with some retail therapy at the boutique that spans more than 1,400 square feet. Complete with clothing, gifts and grab-n-go refreshments, the boutique’s real highlight is its Aromatherapy Blending Bar where guests can customize spa treatments and take-home products.

In need of a relaxation room that includes a little more sunshine? The upper level of the spa has a rooftop pool with eight cabanas, two outdoor rain showers, an outdoor fireplace with seating area, food and beverage service and 360-degree views of the resort below. The new rooftop pool space is also available for private events up to 100 guests.

The spa also has a fitness center, perfect for individual training or small group workouts, and a movement studio for things like yoga, mediation and cardio. Polish your hands and feet at the new nail salon which features pedicure chairs that eliminate the need to straddle the foot spa as the chairs move back and forth. And for those looking to really freshen up, the spa has also debuted a full-service Drybar salon with its signature treatments and iconic look.

The new spa is part of the resort’s three-year renovation, the most extensive since its debut in 1988. The resort is in its final phase of completion and is expected to be completed at the end of this year.
