A new year means new wine adventures. It’s time to step into some new wines, and what better way to do that than to make a whole night of it?

Mountain Shadows

Mountain Shadows will be hosting a wine dinner series throughout 2018, with each event focusing on different wines, and the first one is next week!

Here’s a peak at what you’ll be diving into during dinner.

January 10 | Napa Gala Series

This event will focus on wines from, you guessed it — Napa Valley. Quail Distributing’s Napa wine producers partake in this annual event where wineries are paired with top restaurants. And this year, Mountain Shadows’ Hearth ’61 has been paired with Hourglass Winery.

Executive Chef Charles Wiley will be curating a menu that perfectly intertwines local ingredients and killer flavors into dishes that will pair perfectly with Hourglass Estates wine, as well as Blueline Estates and HGIII Red Blend.

A ticket to this event will get you 50% off a night’s stay at Mountain Shadows!

Tickets for this event are $125 per person. This event is limited to 50 guests.

January 16, February 20, March 20 | Prestigious Wine Dinner Series

Each night in this series will feature a different winery.

January 16: Opus One

February 20: Silver Oak

March 20: Borgogno Winery

This dinner series will present to attendees a four-course meal created by Executive Chef Charles Wiley, with four wines to go along.

A ticket to this event will get you 50% off a night’s stay at Mountain Shadows!

Tickets for this event are priced at $249 per person for all three events if purchased before January 15. If purchased after that, tickets are $599 per person for all three events. 

 

Hotel Valley Ho

Hotel Valley Ho is also all about the wine this year, and has some fab events lined up for the upcoming months.

January 22 | Monday Night Chef’s Table

Zuzu’s Monday Night Chef’s Table is back up and running, and the next one will be featuring wines from The Prisoner Wine Company.

This four course meal will be prepared by Executive Chef Russell LaCasce, who will also be pairing the delectable meal with a few different wines.

January’s menu features:

  • Pear and citrus salad
  • Coffee-rubbed duck breast
  • Braised veal cheeks
  • Brown butter financier

You will leave this even filled to the brim. with deliciousness, and with some wine knowledge to take home with you!
