Mountain Shadows Paradise Valley to Open Early 2017

Mountain Shadows

The highly-anticipated Mountain Shadows resort in Paradise Valley is slated to open its doors in early 2017.

Nestled in the shadows of Camelback Mountain off of Lincoln Drive, just east of Tatum Blvd., the $100 million boutique resort is translating its rich history as one of the area’s first luxury resorts from the ‘50s into a totally rebuilt, modern getaway.

With 183 guest rooms, including a presidential suite facing Camelback Mountain, Mountain Shadows pays homage to Paradise Valley in its architecture and desert-inspired design. Take the resort’s full-service restaurant, Hearth ’61. Named in part after the year Paradise Valley was incorporated in 1961, the restaurant will offer ingredient-driven American cuisine under the hand of executive chef Charles Wiley. A warm and inviting sunken living room and bar area faces expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows that overlook a spacious patio giving way to breathtaking desert landscape views.
