If sampling bottomless tequila on a luxury train through Mexico sounds like a good time, read on.
The Jose Cuervo Express—familiarly known as the Tequila Train—recently unveiled a richly decorated new Elite wagon.
Featuring wood paneling and luxurious interiors with floor-to-ceiling windows, depart from Guadalajara with a three-glass educational tasting guided by a tequila expert. Mexican botanas and snacks will also be served in addition to a fully stocked bar featuring custom cocktails.
Once in the magical town of Tequila, travelers will enjoy a festive day, including mariachi and traditional Mexican games. Guests will also partake in a virtual explanation of the tequila production process and walk-through of Jose Cuervo’s La Rojeña distillery.
Capacity on board has been temporarily reduced to a maximum of 24 passengers for safety reasons due to Covid-19. Tickets are $166 per person.
