Hawaii is Now Welcoming Tourists Again

Hawaii is now welcoming back U.S. tourists, providing some relief to months of travel restrictions due to COVID-19.

The state has recently released a pre-travel testing program that allows U.S. travelers to bypass the mandatory quarantine with a negative COVID-19 test result.

Since the onset of the pandemic in late March, Hawaii has required travelers to quarantine for 14 days. Now, visitors can enjoy Hawaii’s incredible natural beauty once again by providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test administered no earlier than 72 hours before their final flight to Hawaii.

Only test results from trusted testing partners approved by the Hawaii Department of Health are being accepted.

As information surrounding COVID-19 travel changes frequently, be sure to check for updates on the latest travel advisories with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and travel operators.
