Nothing welcomes the new week at Stays like a grand opening of another luxury hotspot, ME London. Situated in London, on the former site of the Gaiety Theatre and adjacent to Marconi House, the original London home of BBC radio, ME London is the result of the design-led hotel group, Meliá Hotels International, in alliance with Foster + Partners as their first UK hotel project and the first for which they have designed all of the interiors and exteriors.
Set to open March 1, the property is draped with 157 guest rooms, including 16 suites and ultra-luxurious Suite ME, a two-story penthouse located in the turret of the building. All rooms and suites feature sumptuous bedding, bathrooms with spa-like rain showers and premium amenities, as well as access to the hotel’s integrated digital media hub.
The interiors fuse contemporary detailing of solid concrete aesthetics and classic traditions drawn from its historically rich surroundings, with a dramatic monochrome palette, as guests explore the hotel’s property.
Exceptional dining is located within the hotel including the Radio roof top bar, offering a stunning panoramic view of London. For a culinary sensation, STK steakhouse and grill are celebrated for their lively vibe, while Cucina Asellina offers a contemporary take on rustic Italian food; and the Marconi Lounge, an ideal meeting place, stays open all day after an afternoon in the diverse city.
ME London also boasts an on-site fitness center and offers in room relaxation and spa treatments. Be sure to check out their fitness concierge for recommended jogging routes along the River Thames.
