Hotel bars are often overlooked by locals when choosing where to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine…or three. But lobby bars are some of the most exciting and chic places to unwind after a long week. Case in point: Twenty6 at JW Marriott Desert Ridge.
The wide open lounge and bar has just revamped their menu of craft cocktails and elevated bites, in case you needed a reason to stop in immediately – and you should. Whether sipping a spicy margarita while answering emails or savoring a glass of wine with friends on the weekend, Twenty6 is great for any occasion. The space is large enough to cozy up in a corner for a night of conversation but lively enough for those seeking to be in the center of the action. Guests can also relax on the large patio with fire pits and panoramic views. Visit on Friday and Saturday evenings to enjoy live entertainment.
Twenty6 is also the perfect stop for a pre-dinner cocktail before heading into Stonegrill, the resort’s three-meal restaurant that shouldn’t be over looked. Featuring more classic eats throughout the day, its dinner menu amps up the Southwestern flair with must-try dishes like the Loaded Parker House Rolls (think a south-of-the-border cheesy bread), the calamari and shrimp frito, Caldeirada (a Southwestern take on the classic seafood Cioppino) and the signature guest favorite Cochinita Pibil. The popular dish is made with achiote braised fall-off-the-bone bone-in pork, pineapple and citrus and served over cilantro lime rice, black beans and pickled shallot. Too delicious to pass up if you ask us.
