Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale Launches ‘Tranquili-Tea’ Afternoon Tea Experience

This spring, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is launching Tranquili-Tea, a seasonal tea with a custom menu set in the picturesque Onyx Bar & Lounge.

Tranquili-Tea will run March 1–April 30, 2024 as a daily afternoon tea experience that will feature elevated tea bites and sparkling beverages accompanied by the beautiful, sweeping desert and Valley views at Onyx.

“Teatime is the perfect excuse for an afternoon reset or celebration,” says Director of Food & Beverage Rita Vale. “Indulge in the art of refined relaxation and soak in the abundant Scottsdale spring sunshine from the floor-to-ceiling windows at Onyx, while enjoying a custom tea menu and specialty sips.”

The Tranquili-Tea menu begins with a selection of tea sandwiches that will showcase ingredients like smoked salmon served with herb Boursin spread, cucumber, dill and brown bread; Arizona heirloom tomatoes with homemade whipped ricotta, grilled peaches, dehydrated strawberry and pomegranate gastrique; and prosciutto fig with jamon Serrano, black mission fig and pear. Guests will also savor southwest egg salad and Bibb lettuce on a mini brioche bun and the cucumber sandwich with whipped butter and fennel pollen. Complementing the menu is a selection of scones, including buttermilk and apricot served with lemon curd, clotted cream and housemade orange marmalade.

The highlight of the tea is a selection of sweet teatime treats, which showcases the artistry of Executive Pastry Chef Yudith Bustos (pictured above). Included on the menu is The Beehive, which combines coconut mousse and honey cake and is served with passion fruit caviar, and The Onyx, which brings together chocolate mousse, salted caramel and hazelnut crunch. The Cactus offers a taste of the southwest with prickly pear and cheesecake mousse, while The Sunset features citrus cream, seasonal fruit and meringue.

To complement the sweet and savory offerings, guests will choose from a combination of RISHI teas, including Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Chamomile, Jade Cloud, Artemisia Ginger, Chilean Cranberry Citrus and more. Guests will also have the option to add on bottomless sparkling sips, including mimosas, Bellinis, Aperol spritzes and sparkling wine.

Tranquili-Tea will be offered for one seating daily from 3 p.m.–5 p.m. The cost is $80 for two adults or $125 when accompanied by bottomless sparkling sips. Reservations are required and can be made online here.
