Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows has recently debuted new accommodations, event spaces and enhancements, and even a new name.

Cattle Track Suites

The desert resort which opened in December 2016 has introduced 16 new Cattle Track Suites, one-bedroom accommodations that span 750 square feet. The suites are ideal for weekend getaways with friends and take their name from the art that was crafted by the resort’s partners at nearby Cattle Track Arts Compound. The new suites include two private terraces, two full bathrooms, two TVs and a spacious living area with pullout sofa. Some of the new suites even offer more during your stay like a full-service poolside cabana. Situated alongside the resort’s main Turquoise Pool, these suites offer guests privacy and easy access to the pool area.

Three of the Cattle Track Suites are located within The Retreat, a cluster of 20 guest rooms situated around its own private pool. Guests of The Retreat enjoy complimentary breakfast and daily drinks for two and access to the spa’s facility and pool. This “resort within a resort” is great for groups like family reunions, weddings and corporate gatherings.

Event Spaces

Another new feature of the resort is the Sonoran Lawn. The new event space can accommodate ceremonies up to 80 guests and receptions up to 120. The venue is nestled among pine and olive trees and is great for intimate gatherings. The popular Albers Lawn received new enhancements that include a circular fountain, fire pit and artificial turf. It is now divided into three spaces and can accommodate 80 to 250 people.

New Name

In addition to new features and amenities, the name was recently changed from Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa to Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows, due to great feedback on the resort’s unique bungalow-style layout and design. Although the spa has been dropped from the name, it still continues to offer its extensive treatment menu in its breathtaking setting. Guests can invent their own essential oil mixture, soak in the hydrotherapy pools or take advantage of the eucalyptus steam room, nail and hair salon, fitness center, outdoor relaxation lounges and a private pool.

Holiday Fun

For guests visiting during the holiday season, new activities offer fun ways to get in the spirit. Create your own ornaments with local Cattle Track Artist Chance Phillips every Friday at 1 p.m. or enjoy a complimentary holiday-themed mixology class every Wednesday and Friday at 4 p.m. Cocktails include the Spicy Ginger Man, The North Pole and Grinch Punch. And on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and Thursdays at 3 p.m. guests can take part in complimentary culinary classes with holiday-themed snacks like homemade spiced egg nog, holiday cookie decorating, peppermint reindeer chow and candied crab apple.
