The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is embracing a pink glow — literally — throughout the month of October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the fifth consecutive year, the downtown hotel will be illuminated in a pink glow each night to show their support. And to celebrate even further, the luxury hotel is hosting various events and offering special amenities through October that will benefit the Bay Area non-profit Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.
“We are honored to partner with Breast Cancer Emergency Fund again this year to show support for this meaningful cause,” said Rick Corcoran, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco. “BCEF has provided over $3.5 million in grants to women and men in need and we are proud to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month and help raise funding for this impactful community organization.”
Pink Afternoon Tea
The hotel’s famous Afternoon Tea will get a pink twist with a curated menu full of rose-colored sweet and savory pastries and sandwiches, plus fine pots of tea. Guests can also indulge in more treats like sparkling rosé, strawberries and cream and Osetra caviar.
