The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is Going Pink With Special Events and Amenities

The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is embracing a pink glow — literally — throughout the month of October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the fifth consecutive year, the downtown hotel will be illuminated in a pink glow each night to show their support. And to celebrate even further, the luxury hotel is hosting various events and offering special amenities through October that will benefit the Bay Area non-profit Breast Cancer Emergency Fund. 

“We are honored to partner with Breast Cancer Emergency Fund again this year to show support for this meaningful cause,” said Rick Corcoran, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco. “BCEF has provided over $3.5 million in grants to women and men in need and we are proud to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month and help raise funding for this impactful community organization.”

Pink Afternoon Tea

The hotel’s famous Afternoon Tea will get a pink twist with a curated menu full of rose-colored sweet and savory pastries and sandwiches, plus fine pots of tea. Guests can also indulge in more treats like sparkling rosé, strawberries and cream and Osetra caviar. The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco will donate $10 to the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund for each Pink Afternoon Tea that is sold and $2 for each glass of sparkling rosé. Pink Afternoon Tea will take place October 6 and 27, from 1 to 2 p.m. $80 per person.

Hello Gorgeous Cocktail

Pull up a seat at Parallel 37’s bar or in the city-view Lounge to enjoy a new blushing cocktail created by resident mixologists. Named Hello Gorgeous, the drink features Novo Fogo, Cachaça SipSmith Sloe Gin, lime, rosemary syrups, bitters and soda. $2 from the sale of each Hello Gorgeous cocktail will be donated to the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund. $16 per Hello Gorgeous cocktail.
