A new era is taking shape for one of the Valley’s long-standing hospitality landmarks as Hilton Phoenix Resort at The Peak unveils the first completed phase of its $100 million repositioning project. Following its acquisition by Pivotal Group in 2024, the resort has begun rolling out a comprehensive transformation designed to modernize the guest experience while honoring its roots in Phoenix hospitality.

At the center of this first phase is the introduction of the Ocotillo Wing, formerly known as the South Tower. The reimagined space features 208 fully upgraded all-suite accommodations, redesigned to offer a residential feel with expanded comfort and contemporary finishes. The wing is now open and welcoming guests just in time for Arizona’s peak travel and event season.

The arrival experience has also been redefined. Guests are now welcomed into The Living Room, a reworked lobby concept that blends indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Anchored by a large lobby bar and surrounded by varied seating areas and fire pits. Guests can connect, unwind, and hang out with a menu that offers shareables, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine, and cocktails, reinforcing the lobby’s role as a gathering point. The Pantry provides a convenient grab-and-go option.
“We’re not just renovating and updating the property,” Pivotal Group Vice President & Principal Julia Najafi said. “We’re reimagining the hotel’s legacy. This property has a history and story, and we’re honored to carry that forward, while also creating something elevated and incredibly exciting for current and new generations.”

The updated spaces are intended to enhance arrival and stay, while maintaining the sense of place that has defined the property for decades.
“These newly unveiled spaces represent an important step forward and milestone for Hilton Resort at the Peak,” General Manager Dale Moseke said. “They provide an elevated guest experience and reflect a thoughtful approach that enhances how our guests arrive, stay, and connect, while respecting the legacy of a property that has long been part of Phoenix.”

“We’re incredibly excited and proud to unveil this latest phase of the resort’s transformation,” said Elie Khoury, Chief Operating Officer at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. “The property reflects our commitment to elevating the guest experience while honoring the character and legacy that make it so special.”

Managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the resort remains a hub for meetings, conventions, and group travel. With more than 60,000 square feet of refreshed event space, the property is positioned as a flexible destination for everything from corporate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Outdoor venues, including the newly introduced Ocotillo and Anasazi Courtyards, have been redesigned to take advantage of shaded open-air environments and views of the surrounding desert landscape.
As updates continue, the property is positioning itself as a refreshed destination and a fixture in Phoenix’s hospitality, blending its history with a new design-forward vision. Learn more at hilton.com.
