Downtown Mesa continues its impressive transformation with the opening of The 233 Suites Mesa, a boutique extended-stay hotel that introduces Arizona’s first Unscripted by Hyatt property. Developed by Hospitality Capital Partners, The 233 Suites is part of a new six-story mixed-use development designed to serve business and leisure travelers seeking a more residential-style stay.

The boutique hotel features 76 spacious suite-style accommodations, each equipped with a full kitchen, making it an ideal option for extended visits, work travel or guests looking for the comforts of home while exploring the East Valley. Within, guests and locals can enjoy Crust Simply Italian along with Bombilina’s pastry concept, while a new speakeasy is slated to open later this year.

The project also includes approximately 13,000 square feet of Class A office space. Its location places visitors within walking distance of ASU’s new film school and East Valley campus, as well as an expanding collection of restaurants, entertainment venues and businesses. Travelers will also appreciate convenient access to both Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

The opening reflects Hospitality Capital Partners’ continued investment in Arizona’s fast-growing hospitality market. The company now oversees more than 1,500 hotel rooms across the state, including the simultaneous debut of Hotel Solaya in Scottsdale, Arizona’s first JdV by Hyatt property.
While Scottsdale’s lifestyle hotel brings a resort-style experience to one of the Valley’s most popular destinations, The 233 Suites showcases a different side of Arizona hospitality by focusing on longer stays, neighborhood connectivity and downtown revitalization.

“Arizona continues to experience remarkable growth as both a tourism destination and business hub,” said Parimal “Primo” Parmar, co-managing partner of Hospitality Capital Partners. “Both offer strong fundamentals in markets with sustained demand, while also creating opportunities to elevate the guest experience and operational performance over time. We are proud to work with Hyatt on bringing these concepts to Arizona.”

As downtown Mesa continues to attract new restaurants, arts venues, educational opportunities and residential developments, The 233 Suites adds another piece to the area’s ongoing renaissance.
For visitors looking to experience the city’s walkable downtown while enjoying the flexibility of an extended-stay hotel, the new property offers a fresh option that reflects Mesa’s growing reputation as one of the Valley’s emerging destinations. Learn more at hyatt.com.
