Inside the Art of Luxury Living: Desert Design Week’s Exclusive Panel

In the world of luxury homebuilding, the magic often happens before the first foundation is poured. On April 22, 2026, Cameron Custom Homes invites guests to take a closer look behind the scenes with Design Notes: Crafting Exceptional Homes, an intimate breakfast and panel discussion hosted at The Silverleaf Club.

Presented in collaboration with Desert Design Week, the event brings together some of the region’s most respected voices in architecture, interior design, and construction. The morning is designed for architects, designers, builders, and homeowners alike; anyone drawn to the artistry and strategy behind truly exceptional residential spaces.

At the heart of the conversation is a simple question: what transforms a house into a home of lasting impact? From early collaboration and budget alignment to ensuring long-term livability and craftsmanship, the panel will dive into the decisions that shape beautiful, meaningful homes.

“This conversation will pull back the curtain on the process involved in crafting a timeless luxury home,” said Cammie Beckert. “Each of our panelists will offer their own unique insights and actionable anecdotes. It’s going to be a fun and informative morning.”

Beckert, founder of Cameron Custom Homes, will be joined by an accomplished group of panelists, each bringing a distinct perspective to the table. Stratton Andrews, founder and director of Stratton Architects, is known for designing contemporary and transitional residences that balance form and function.

Holly Freres, principal of JHL Design, brings more than two decades of experience crafting interiors that are as livable as they are refined. Completing the panel is Nick McCully of McCully Construction, whose work reflects a commitment to quality, precision, and a family legacy.

Beyond the insights and networking, the event highlights a broader movement within the design world, one that values collaboration, intentionality, and a more holistic approach to how homes are envisioned and built. For attendees, it’s an opportunity to learn from industry leaders and gain a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship and care that go into every space.

The morning will begin with a welcome reception from 9 to 9:45 a.m., offering guests time to connect over coffee before the panel discussion kicks off from 10 to 11 a.m. Tickets are priced at $70 per person and include valet service along with a full breakfast. Learn more at desertdesignweek.com.
