January Brings Two Fine Art Events to Valley

Seeking some fresh art for the new year? The Valley hosts two can’t-miss fine art expos this month.

Jan. 11 to March 24: Arizona Fine Art EXPO

For 10 weeks, a piece of desert in North Scottsdale will become a must-visit arts community hosting 124 patron-friendly artist studios within a 44,000-sq.-ft. space. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, locals can visit the southwest corner of Scottsdale and Jomax Roads to see sculptors, painters, jewelry-makers, glass-blowers and more talents from around the globe in action and have a chance to purchase their works. Season passes are $10; season passes for seniors and military are $8; and children under 12 are free. Parking is free.

The show is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the Art Discovery Series held each Friday from 4 to 5 p.m. being a popular attraction. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors and military; and children under 12 are free.
