Most Influential in the Valley Education: Sister Joan Fitzgerald, Sister Joanie Nuckols and Sister Lynn Winsor

This trio of remarkable women—Sister Joan Fitzgerald, BVM, Sister Joanie Nuckols, BVM, and Sister Lynn Winsor, BVM—has been instrumental in Xavier College Preparatory’s success over the past several decades. Sister Fitzgerald joined Xavier’s faculty in 1962, become principal in 1974 and was named the school’s first president in 2016. Sister Winsor, who is a Xavier alumna, has spent 44 years as a Xavier teacher, coach, athletic director and vice principal. Sister Nuckols, who was named principal in 2016, has spent 37 years at Xavier as a teacher, campus minister and vice principal. @xaviercollegepreparatory
