Luxury Cars Debut in LA this Weekend

If you or someone you know has a luxury vehicle on their holiday gift list, you might want to pay attention to the Los Angeles Auto Show, kicking off Friday at the LA Convention Center. The world’s top automakers will debut their latest electric vehicles, new models and trend-setting technology and designs.

In the luxury segment, Acura will unveil its new flagship sedan, the 2014 RLX, while BMW will present the North American debut of the i8 Spyder plug-in hybrid roadster concept, and a yet to be announced world debut. The LA show also will play host to the North American introduction of the Jaguar F-Type convertible and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series. Other world debuts from Mercedes, Audi, Bentley Land Rover and Porsche are also expected.

The LA Auto Show is open to the public and runs November 30 through December 9. Admission is $12, free for children 12 and younger when accompanied by an adult. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday.
