Kawasaki 250 S Scales Mountains on Lunch Breaks

When I tell people why the Phoenix Valley area is the best place in the country to live, sure I can talk about the weather, sure I can mention affordability, absolutely I can talk about the various sporting outfits, but what I always wind up saying is “You can climb a mountain on your lunch break.”

The Phoenix Valley area is completely unique in this regard, with rugged desert play areas like Camelback and South Mountain only minutes from the downtown high rises, Phoenix offers a versatility of living not to be matched.  I like to think that a vehicle should match a place.  If you live in a dense urban area, a Vespa or smart car only makes sense.  But what would best match the versatility of a city like Phoenix, a place that is both an urban metropolis AND an outdoor lovers paradise?  My pick would be the 2011 Kawasaki KLX 250 S.

The Kawasaki 250 S is a dual purpose sport bike, also called a dual sport, also called a dualie.  What this means is that the 250 S is both a sort of dirt bike, but is also street legal for all roads and highways.  This is where the versatility comes in.  With the Kawasaki 250 S, not only can you climb mountains on your lunch break, but you can zip over and through them, off road or on.

Phoenix Valley auto enthusiasts can view and test drive any current production model Kawasaki at any Phoenix Valley area Kawasaki dealership.  Phoenix Valley auto enthusiasts should plan on attending the Phoenix Arizona International Auto Show to learn about the most recent concepts and innovations from the on/off road biking wing, as well as the rest of the auto industry, taking place at the Phoenix Arizona Convention center over Thanksgiving weekend.
