I drove the 2025 Maverick Lobo for a week and came away genuinely impressed. As someone who spends a lot of time driving around the city, I appreciated how smooth and car-like the ride felt. It’s easy to maneuver in tight spots, park without stress, and it doesn’t feel bulky like some other trucks I’ve driven in the past. At the same time, I still had the utility of a truck — hauling gear, furniture, or whatever else I needed without a second thought. That balance between practicality and comfort really stood out.
One thing I wasn’t a fan of was the styling choice on the model I drove — it had all-black wheels paired with a white exterior. While I know some people love that contrast, it just didn’t do it for me. It felt a bit too aggressive for the otherwise clean, modern look of the truck. I would have preferred something a little more understated or color-matched.
Overall though, the Maverick Lobo delivers a great mix of functionality and city-friendly driving. If you’re someone who needs a truck but doesn’t want the full-size truck hassle, this could be a great fit.
