Phoenix Summer Fashion Finds

Today, I just feel like shopping. It’s just one of those days. I know, I pretty much feel like shopping everyday. But today I’m curious what’s new at all my favorite shops. And since it’s so unbelievably hot out (I’m really really not excited for the 100 degree+ temps), at least I have the luxury of being able to shop for some super cute things from the luxury of… computer. Yup. Gotta love the Internet.

So on this super sunny day I’m lusting after:

I’m loving how playful this 7 for all Mankind Henley romper is. It’s perfect for our weather too. $189.

I love how comfy this outfit is. These True Religion shorts are super cute. Neiman Marcus. $172.

I definitely want a cute pair of jellies this summer. Not those 1980 jellies that were hideous sandals, but some nice jelly flip flops like this pair of Jimmy Choos from Saks Fifth Avenue. $175.

For summer, I love easy, breezy outfits. Today I’m in a maxi dress because it’s so easy to pull on. Just like this Kain sheer top from Saks Fifth Avenue. It definitely looks like a summer closet staple. $88. Saks Fifth Avenue.

I wasn’t thinking of including a jumpsuit in this post. But I am sooooo loving this Stella McCartney white number from Net-a-porter. With some supercute wedges (a post I’ll add later this week) it’s definitely summery and chic too. $2,245.

I stopped wearing actual shorts when I was about 13. They grossed me out, you’re in class and all is fine and then you sit and thigh fat spreads out EVERYWHERE. Now, when I was 13 I was also about 90 lbs. But still, it absolutely horrified me, and still kinda does to this day. Hey, we all have our complexes right? Anyway, it’s too hot to sport jeans all summer in AZ, but a great solution are some skinny shorts like this Paige version here from Now here’s a short I can live with. $179.

Oh how I love cute, easy maxi dresses. This green Splendid dress is one I could wear all summer long. $155.

Another great maxi dress from Splendid. I love this hot pink color. $155. Net-a-porter.

I love white bags for summer. They might get dirty. And not be the least be practical because of that. But they sure are super cute. I’ve always had a soft spot in my hear for Marc by Marc Jacobs bags like this one. The leather hobo is $430 from Intermix.

  1. LOL Marlene way too funny about the shorts!, what are the new stores coming to Scottsdale Fashion Square?

  2. i also hate shorts. but my 6 foot tall best frined loves them and wears the shortest shorts all the time and i just get jelous.
