Prada Opens Pop-Up Cafe Inside Luxury London Department Store, Harrods

Prada has opened a new pop-up cafe inside London’s luxury department store Harrods, bringing shoppers a taste of Milan and gourmet bites in a stylish, chic setting.

The eatery is open until January 2024 and draws inspiration from Prada’s first boutique in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade with a quaint interior and designs unique to the fashion house. Fashionably, Prada Caffè is just as picture-worthy as its menu.

The pop-up features a bright, sophisticated ambiance with textured walls washed in the brand’s signature mint-green hue, a black-and-white-checkered floor and elegant details, like gold pendant light fixtures, molded ceilings and beautiful floral bas-reliefs that adorn the walls.

Green velvet armchairs or sofas make a statement at each of the tables, which are luxuriously set with porcelain dishes, crystal glasses featuring Prada’s iconic triangle logo, table lamps and simple flower bouquets.

The London cafe offers breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as quick bites that hungry shoppers can take on the go, plus decadent desserts as well as wine and cocktail offerings. Staying true to the pop-up’s theme, the menu features a modern take on Italian cuisine with items such as faggotini, eggs florentine, ricotta cannelloni, caviar, Italian finger sandwiches, mini pizzas, risottos and more. Tiramisus, sponge cakes and fancy pastries pair perfectly with a cup of coffee, while Italian wines and signature cocktails add to the elevated culinary experience.

If you’d like to step inside the Prada Caffè while it’s still around and try a bite off the menu yourself, reservations can be made through Harrods here.
