More Spring 2009 Obsessions

Happy MLK Day everyone! And it’s a beautiful one at that. Bright and sunny and 77 degrees out, which still has me in a spring state of mind. I culled a few more of my favorite spring 2009 looks, this time from Net-a-porter, shopbop and Intermix. So bust out your sunny wares everyone and get ready for spring.

I am totally in love with this Roberto Cavalli full-length halter from Net-a-porter. If I were going to any elegant soiree this spring, this would definitely be the only wish on my list.  Gold strappy sandals and an elegant clutch like the one shown here would have you looking like the belle of the ball. And it looks comfortable too.

Backs were meant to be bared. This Sari Gueron mustard-color dress exudes sophistication with its ruffle front and I love the unexpected open back that’s daring and sexy. You can get it at,

I’m totally digging these Sigerson Morrison black leather wedges. I’m loving the sky-high height and detailing that even wraps around the ankles. I’d sport them with some chic shorts or a light, summer dress. You can score these Sigerson Morrison wedges at net-a-porter.

I’m not usually one to be into red bags, but this Zagliani oversize handbag is super cute. If you’re not into the red so much, it’s available in black too. But it would be a fun way to inject some color into your wardrobe. You can find it at intermix.

I know, I always post some kind of oversize cardigan, but that’s because I clearly love them so much. This Halston oversize cardigan from Net-a-porter is darling. Nude-colors were huge on the spring 2009 runways so it’s right on trend, casual and comfy too.

This Donna Karan pleated bandeau dress from Net-a-porter is supercute for a cocktail affair or a nice dinner. Plus the pink is bright and punchy. Get it at net-a-porter.

These Diane von Furstenberg sandals have me thinking all about the beach. Wear them with shorts or a long jersey dress. You can get them at Intermix.

One look that will never go out of style in my book is the flapper dress. This ONE flapper dress from Net-a-porter is definitely classic. And I love how intricate the sequin detailing is.

These Stella McCartney gold bow band sandals look like the shoes I’d like to spend my entire spring wardrobe in. The almost 5-inch heels can be purchased at Intermix.

  1. Love the sandals and gold and white dresses. Though I wish AZ winters lasted a bit longer, I wouldn’t mind a little sunshine if it means donning those duds!
