Holiday Gift Guide Part 1: Best Beauty Buys

I won’t pretend I’m one of those people who starts listening to holiday music the day after Thanksgiving, that kind of 24/7 cheer is really just not my thing. But I love to spoil (and be spoiled of course) and that definitely brings me cheer this holiday season.

While I’m sure there’s plenty of you out there a bit anti,  I suspect that if you had your shopping list all planned out, you’d be a little merrier too. This year, whether your budget is small or large, I’m doing the dirty work for you so you don’t have to lose sleep about what to gift.

Today’s installment: Best Beauty Buys. Stay tuned the rest of the week for more holiday gift ideas and be sure to pick up your December issue of Arizona Foothills for even more holiday items.

Pay attention Santa, here are a few of my favorite things:

Juicy Couture Pave Diamond Lip Gloss Ring

Really, how adorable is this lip gloss ring? Exclusive to Sephora, the tiny gold ring is adorned in pink crystals and contains a tiny pot of light pink gloss and mirror inside. $68.

Bobbi Brown Copper Diamond Beauty Kit

Beauty junkies need their tools and this season, the Bobbi Brown Copper Diamond Beauty Kit is it. The multi-tiered organizer features two compartments, the top with pockets designed for brushes. Makeup pictured not included. $95.

Philosophy The Gingerbread House Set

I heart Philosophy. Something about the scents and irresistible packaging is just too cute. You can’t go wrong with gifting The Gingerbread House Set, a classic Philosophy offering. The kit includes high-foaming shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath in scintillating scents of frosting, gingerbread, cinnamon and gumdrops. $30.

Lather All Over Radiance Set

Suds and spa products got you stumped? Cover your bases with Lather’s All Over Radiance Set. The kit includes seven essential skincare items: bamboo silk foaming face scrub with lemongrass, ultra light face lotion, bamboo crème body wash with shea butter, bamboo lemongrass foaming body scrub, sofian lavender whipped body crème, eucalyptus foaming foot scrub with pumice and the lavender & eucalyptus foot crème. $50.

Sephora Prestige Brush Set

I am absolutely positively crazy obsessed with professional makeup brush sets. Sure I might have a zillion or two, but there’s always room for more. The new Sephora Prestige Brush Set is the perfect kit for either a first or ultimate brush set collection and includes 12 professional brushes in this pearlized case. $100.

  1. I love Philosphy as well. They have such adorable holiday gift sets. And gumdrops? Love it!
You gotta get to the store at Dana Park–it’s lovely! I wanted to touch everything!

  2. My mom hated what I got her last Christmas. Then again, I’m not sure when she would really use that set of lawn darts.
