Scottsdale Fashion Week

Ok fashionistas, it’s time to gear up for our own hometown fashion festivities. And I can say after four years of being backstage in the hub of activity this year I will be mainly participating as a spectator…and of course a style blogger. So look for my wrap up of shows and backstage excitement next week!

Don’t miss the Face of Foothills Finale’ from 7-9pm at Scottsdale Fashion Square in the Barneys NY wing where we will be announcing this years winner. The event promises to be one of the most exciting of the weekends activities with approximately $10,000 dollars in prizes going to the winner along with their image gracing the website and a fashion spread and cover in an upcoming issue.

Scottsdale Fashion Week

And Scottsdale Fashion Week kicks off with Community Night Thursday night (Presented by FIDM) The evening shows will showcase the talents of hair, accessory and fashion peeps from local professionals and students alike. Unlike other shows during the weekend this one is definitely home grown as indie designers take the stage to show of their creations. I am told that this years the amount of shows is bigger than ever. Tickets are $15 at the door. The lineup is as follows:
6:35-6:55 — Accessory Show
7:10-7:30 — High School Student Show
7:45-8:05 — College Student Show
