Red Carpet- Producers Guild Awards

The Globes kicked off the red carpet season with a lot of great looks last week and one of our favorites was Mrs. Pitt… and Mr. Pitt didn’t look too shabby either. The gorgeous power Hollywood couple kept the award worthy looks coming at Saturday night’s Producers Guild Awards. The awards may not garner as much media coverage as many of the better-known ceremonies, but the stars still brought their best to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

As I said, Jolie didn’t fail to give her fans another gorgeous red carpet look in this stunning black, lace cutout Michael Kors gown. Her bubbly mood and gorgeous smile were the perfect accessories. More than likely her mood can be attributed to the Stanley Kramer Award she was honored with that evening for her work on In the Land of Blood and Honey.

Sofia Vergara looked amazing in this curve hugging, sequined, ombre Monique Lhuillier dress. Though a very sexy look Sofia balanced it with minimal accessories and classic black peep toes. If you want to copy Sofia’s sexy sleek ponytail be sure to check out our tutorial here.

Jessica Chastain played the bubbly, gun hoe, and altogether stylish Celia Foote, my favorite character in what is in my opinion one of the best movies ever made—The Help. She is just as stylish in real life, this sparkly, black Balenciaga gown looks as if it were made for her. The red nails, green earrings, and piercing eyes just completed the whole look. Not to mention her flawless skin!

I chose Shailene Woodley as one of my “best dressed” for the night, not because it’s the dazzling or that it fits her like of glove, but rather because it was age appropriate. The velvet Valentino tunic was simple, cute, and I’m sure she was comfortable.

Viola Davis, who played my other favorite character in the help (who am I kidding they were all my favorite), lands herself on this list for being different and not wearing black. Instead she opted for a beautiful, deep shade of green… that not too many people can pull off. I love her commitment to color and her apparent understanding of what looks good on her… her red carpet silhouettes hardly change from show to show, but hey it’s working.

Whose red carpet photos and looks are you most looking forward to this season?
