Kate Spade Launches Swimwear Inspired by ‘60s Glamour

With polka dots, bows and frill to boot, Kate Spade New York is launching its first swimwear line.

Kate Spade has partnered with licensee Swimwear Anywhere to produce a 70-piece swimwear collection that includes 52 mix-and-match separates, 12 one-pieces and some cover-ups for cruise 2015.

Inspired by the glamour of ‘50s and ‘60s beachwear, the collection will stay true to the brand’s cheerful and colorful nature. Bralettes and bow bustier bandeaus coordinate with hipster and high-waisted bottoms in solids and fun prints, like black-and-white stripes, balloon dots and Monaco florals.

For now, we just have this preview image of a two-piece blush-colored bandeau bikini from the collection:

The collection will make a soft debut at Miami Swim Week this month, while an official launch is slated for August in New York. Priced between $120 and $200, the Kate Spade swimwear collection will hit stores in November.
