Donate Your Bras for a Cause to Bring Awareness to Breast Cancer & Domestic Violence

Donate your bras for a cause to support awareness for breast cancer and domestic violence.

The annual event hosted by Mathew Blades of Mix 96.9 collects new and gently used bras that are donated to the Sojourner Center, a local nonprofit that assists women affected by domestic violence.

For each undergarment collected, $1 will be donated to the center, courtesy of Larry H Miller VW in Avondale.

Drop off locations for the bra collections will be placed at businesses around the Valley through October 17th. There will also be a live “Bra-Cast” on October 17th, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., hosted by Mathew Blades of Mix 96.9 at the Total Wine & More parking lot off of I-10 and Elliot Road.

If you have been impacted by either breast cancer or domestic violence, Bras for a Cause welcomes you to take a selfie while holding up a sign that says #ME. Post to social media to encourage the Valley to talk about these two important issues.
