The collection, which will expand with new styles monthly, includes a wide range of sportswear, designed exclusively for the HSN woman.

Staying true to the signature design approach that Meister is known for, the line is all about color, comfort, and style – and will include approachable, everyday pieces such as printed fluid jersey tops, skirts, pants and dresses, knit tanks and dusters, crocheted cardigans, and elevated wovens with special attention to detail.

Each piece in the collection will retail under $100 and range in size from XS to 3X.

David Meister sat down with AZFoothills for an exclusive interview on the new collection!

What was the primary theme or concept behind this new collection?

I wanted to take everything I have learned and developed as a designer and create a unique modern lifestyle collection with David/ david meister exclusively for HSN.I still use a lot of my signature fabrics with stretch and lots of jersey.

Great color and special prints have always been a signature of mine and they will play a key part in the collection. At the end of the day, I say my inspiration is a smile. With everything going on in the world there is very little we can control. When you try something on it should make you feel good and put a smile on your face.

I know of your amazing Red Carpet moments styling celebrities like Tyra Banks, Amy Poehler, and our First Lady Jill Biden. What made you want to do a lifestyle collection consisting of mostly separate pieces?

Women are dressing in a very different manner right now. There will always be a special place for glam but right now women need polished, easy , fashionable clothing that literally can go from the couch to cocktails. Separate items that can function in versatile ways.

It also says the collection will expand every month, is that correct?

I will be presenting a new group on HSN every month.

Can you tell me a little bit about the sizing, is this collection made for women of all body shapes and sizes?

This is a very important thing to me. It is definitely size-inclusive. It is sized from XS- 3XL. I have dressed celebrities for the red carpet ranging in size from 000- 26. Everyone can look great and beautiful regardless of size. It is feeling good about yourself, knowing what works for you, and owning it.

It is also ageless. I have dressed women from 16- 80. Age is a number only. A woman’s energy and mindset are what matters. Bottom line… I hate labels and always remember rules were meant to be broken.

Where will consumers be able to purchase this new collection? Is it affordable?

This collection is available exclusively at Also, check out my Instagram @david_meister. It was very important that this collection be very accessible and affordable.

Every item is under $100. Things do not have to cost a fortune to be beautiful or fit well or be quality. This is where I am putting all the secrets and design knowledge into work to create something truly special and unique.

In the world of COVID-19, how has the fashion industry changed, in your opinion?

Wow. That’s a tough one. I definitely believe there has been a major switch to shopping online or on TV/ social media. This often was not by choice but women have learned the upside to this and are embracing it due to COVID.

Brick and mortar stores will always play a role but I don’t see it returning to what it once was. I think this has also allowed everyone to slow down a bit and step back and examine what and how they are producing. It has also made everyone become a little sharper and innovative.

I always say I love fashion because no two days are the same and you never know what will happen next. Fasten your seatbelt!
