With Halloween 2017 just a mere 3 weeks away, the countdown is on to pick out your Halloween costume! If you’re having a hard time deciding what to be this Halloween, Pinterest and fashion search platform Lyst have put their digital powers together to predict what will be the most popular Halloween costumes of 2017.
The sites combed data, including searches, pins and saves, from 210 million monthly users between both platforms to determine what costumes you’re bound to see everywhere. From characters on hit TV shows to super heroes and classic Halloween costumes, the following costumes are what’s slated to be the top 10 Halloween costumes of 2017.
1. Pennywise From IT
The bloodthirsty clown only re-emerged from the sewer and into cinemas earlier this month, but the data doesn’t lie with Pinterest saves for clown make up and costume skyrocketing. Related fashion searches and costume inspo include ruffled shoulder shirts, white gloves and lace-up pom-pom sneakers.
2. Stranger Things

3. Beauty & The Beast
Yellow dresses have trended in search all year long after La La Land and Beauty and The Beast came out. Even though Belle’s signature yellow tiered gown is a great costume, why not try her blue apron dress or a cute Chip the tea cup costume.
