POSH Restaurant Forget the Cracker Jax and peanuts. Chef Josh Hebert of Scottsdale’s POSH Restaurant–known for its improvisational cuisine–will cleverly put a gourmet twist on the typical baseball stadium fare. The four-course menu is $45 per person and includes roasted peanuts with chili aioli as an amuse bouche, popcorn soup with brown butter and smoked paprika for the first course, shrimp chorizo “corn dog” with white truffle garlic chips and ginger mustard for the second course, an open-face duck “burger” (foie gras is a $15 supplement) for the third course, and for the final course a cotton candy crème brulee with spun sugar. Drink specials and suggested pairings will also be available. The menu will be offered every Tuesday through Thursday, from 5 p.m. to close, through the end of March. 7167 E. Phoenix City Grille The Valley’s Phoenix City Grills invites spring training fans to swing in to the bar from 3 to 6 p.m. any day of the week through the end of March and try the restaurant’s spring training specials spotlighting ballgame mainstay, the hot dog. The yummy spring training specials include unique hot dog combinations in honor of the ballgame including the chef’s version of a chili dog featuring pork and pinto bean chili, fresh salsa and queso panela. Diners might also enjoy the Sonoran Style Dog wrapped in smoked bacon, grilled to perfection and topped with chipotle aioli and pickled red onions. The menu also includes a grilled hot dog with chili ale mustard, cheddar cheese and crispy cornmeal-crusted jalapenos. The hot dog specials are $4 each.
