Mani Inspiration: Spring Florals

Nail art can be absolutely fantastic at its best and extremely tacky at its worst. We’ve seen the tie-dye mani, the galaxy mani, and the caviar mani, but the one we are currently smitten with is the floral mani. It is season appropriate, delicate, and feminine, not to mention it isn’t way over the top (unless of course you want it to be).

This watercolor-esque mani is from one of our favorite nail sites, Chalkbaord Nails. She used a white base and then freehanded the plants using:

China Glaze – Westside Warrior
China Glaze – Fancy Pants
China Glaze – Grape Pop
China Glaze – Purr-fect Plum

This one will probably take a lot of practice, but is totally worth it.

For something a little more bright and cheeky, we love the daily’s lusts ‘floral fever’ mani. I feel a little spring fever just thinking about the color possibilities.

Mode & Manicure mixes floral with stripes, which also happens to be one of the hottest clothing trends this season—so, get to mixin’ and matchin’!

Feeling like your artistic aptititude is, well, failing you? Then Geordi Nails has the floral mani solution—use a stamp! Her base color is OPI ‘Elephant Pink’ and she used a white polish and rose stamp for her floral design.
